Londonbeat

Londonbeat started out in 1988. The Rhythm & Blues band originally consisted of the two singers Jimmy Helms and George Chandler from U.S.A and singer Jimmy Chambers from Trinidad. Their debut single hit the UK pop charts, yet the boys rose to world-wide fame in the early 1990s with their song “I’ve Been Thinking About You”, which was # 1 in 27 countries and generated over 5 million sales.

In 2001 Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann signed Londonbeat and produced two albums with them: “Gravity” and “Back to the Hi-Life”.

In 2018, “I’ve Been Thinking About You” was remixed by successful producer Klaas, and the title once again became a club hit with a No.1 position in U.S.A., Germany, Italy, France, Denmark and Australia. This was followed by “You Bring On The Sun” in a new sound. Both top hits made it into the European club charts again, with million streams worldwide. The album „30 Years Londonbeat“ released in 2019 combines all popular evergreens remastered as the original version and as a remix.
