Bad Boys Blue

If you don’t know the huge hit “You’re A Woman”, you slept through the 80’s, because the distinctive sound of “Bad Boys Blue” set new standards back then. The trio initially consisted of American Andrew Freddie Thomas, Brit John Edward McInerney, and Jamaican Trevor Oliver Tailor. The most famous songs of the formation were the songs L.O.V.E. In My Car, You’re A Woman, Pretty Young Girl, Kisses And Tears, I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat, A World Without You, Don’t Walk Away Suzanne, Queen Of Hearts, House Of Silence, Lady in Black, How I Need You, Come Back And Stay (vocal part by Lyane Lee) and Save Your Love. “Bad Boys Blue” celebrated worldwide successes thanks to the two Coconut masterminds Hendrik & Hartmann, who, over the years, repeatedly adapted the trio’s sound to match the spirit of the times and landed a total of 16 chart hits in Europe, Asia, Eastern Europe and the U.S.A.. The remix album “Bad Boys Back” was a brilliant comeback in 1999 with over 500,000 CDs sold. In 2010, the double album 25 (for the 25th anniversary of the band) was released, for which numerous evergreens were re-recorded. The anniversary album “30” also became a bestseller, which shows that magic melodies truly last forever.
