Soultans

Their very first recording “Can’t Take My Hands Off You” became a hit virus in 1996 infecting the whole of Europe. Based in Germany, Femi Oladeji (voc), Scott Winter (voc, until 1999) and Marvin Broadie (voc, until 1999) founded the British-American group “Soultans”. 1997 saw the release of their album “Love, Sweat and Tears” on Coconut Records. Their biggest hits were: “Can’t Take My Hands Off You” (Top 20 Germany plus top chart positions in various European countries), “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” (e.g. #5 German airplay charts), the album “Love, Sweat & Tears” (Top 50 in the German charts, published Europe-wide – reached Gold status in Denmark),“ Every Little Move ”,“ Get Ready ”and finally“ Set Me Free” (song for Eurovision song contest 2001). Soultans never tire of saying: “Music is entertainment”, and “Our songs give off very positive vibes. They are our opportunity to make a lot of people feel good.” In 2002 Soultans “Greatest Hits” was released with 4 new tracks, including the single ” Don’t leave me this way” featuring Thelma Houston.
